TO APPLY MATERNITY COMPRESSION HOSIERY:
CLASS 1 THIGH HIGH AND FULL HOSE:
Can be put on like you do any other hosiery products.
CLASS 2 THIGH HIGH AND FULL HOSE:
It is easier to put on Class 2 Hosiery if you turn them inside out at the foot. Put your foot into the foot are of the stockings, making sure that you heel is correctly placed in the floating heel area. Slowly work the hosiery up the leg placing it in the proper area. Do not roll stocking down, and smooth out all wrinkles.
PROPER CARE OF MATERNITY COMPRESSION HOSIERY:
Regular washing will help the product maintan proper compression levels. Place hosiery in hosiery bag and machine wash on gently cycle. Do not wring dry, hang dry.
Class I (20-30 mm Hg) - Improves circulation to help prevent varicosities and swelling.
Class II (30-40 mm Hg) - Use for treatment and prevention of varicose veins. Helps control swelling from chronic venous insufficiencies.
For Maternity Pantyhose: Order one size up from usual size if swelling is not present. If ankle swelling is present, use the Thigh High Pantyhose size chart below to determine if a larger size is required.
